October Wish

In a few mere hours for us Western Canadian folks, October shall grace us with it's warm chilly presence of autumn leaves, and also bring in the spooky atmosphere that concludes with the holiday we know as Halloween.

Half the year has already passed, summer has gone, and sooner we'll be bracing our lives for the end of 2012. But before that, Christmas will come of course. :D

I made some goals for September previously:

1) Work out often

2)Work hard in School

And surprise, surprise, none were achieved. I went to the gym once? And I barely touched my studies after school hours. -_-"

Towards the end of the month, I was really frustrated at myself for being such a potato it was driving me insane. So lately (or just today) been trying to study harder just because I had nothing else to do. (My life is that boring. I normally work Sundays but haven't been scheduled for it lately. :X)

So same goals apply for October, let's hope I achieve them this time!

Halloween

I'm not really a big Halloween person. I love to dress up but the thing is.. I always wait till the very last minute deciding on a costume and then it never happens. lolololol. And the years after High School, I didn't really do anything for the holiday. Clubbing screams death and shootings to me around the Halloween times. -_-"

But I'm invited to a Halloween party this year and I am so excited!! Except......

1) Place is very far out into the city, and is known to be a little shady and unsafe.
2) Inconvenient to get home, only way is probably taxi since skytrains would be close by then.
3) I don't drink. It's a drinking party LOL
4) I'll be surrounded by people that I don't get along with

Sigh. Such all bad reasons eh? Only reasons why I ever consider even going is because it's one of my good friend's party, and I have rejected him 329408234093284 times already, to watch the drunk people get drunk, food, and to wear a costume!!

I use to hate it when girls would wear those slutty costumes. It was so stupid, and blah blah blah. But guess what? I say YOLO because you're only hot for a period of time in your life and why the fuck not wear something slutty/hot/tight??

So this year I've decided to go for the military themed costumes. The first idea I had was this one:

I specifically wanted a white sailor costume, instead of navy. (Idunnowhy, it's just what I feel like this year.)

But then I saw this hot baby:

Haha *whip! ;) Sadly the hat and dress are sold separately... -_- I love red, and I think this costume is super hot, and commanding. Hahaha This dress looks a bit short on the model though....but I hope it will fit my frame since I'm short anyways!
I don't really like this much, but it's a second option. This set comes all together, so it's a bit more convenient.  One main thing I really like about this costume are the bold shoulders. :D

Gonna check out the Halloween store after school tomorrow and make my decision. Heheh I'm excited! I hope I do decide to go to the party though.. O_O I always bail out last minute.

New Blogskin

Been having a lot of problems coding the damn thing and making it the way I want it, but finally, finally, it is coming together quite nicely! I'm very happy with it atm, and just need a bit more time to fix it up and hopefully it shall be up before the end of the year! (Hey, time flies quick.)

I want to show you guys a preview, but I'm a bit too lazy atm to upload something. HAHAHAHAAH! It's okay, good things come to those who wait!! ;)

Random Ramblings~

October is my boyfriend's birthday so that means I need to get him something. I already have something in mind and it's gonna take $100 bucks away from me. *pouts It'll probably be another $100 to spend on my costume, and then I would need extra cash to eat out/spend time with friends etc. *sucks in a DEEP breathe SIGH I need more work hours and to save money. #life

LET'S ALL WELCOME OCTOBER WITH A WARM HUG!!!!!!!!!

Meet Baby Kate!

Sometime in August I mentioned that I had made one *specific* purchase from the States that would have it's own blog entry!!! Haha well here I shall give you some hints: It's pink, designer, big, pretty, and pink.

Lol not sure if I gave good clues or not.. but oh well. ^^"

Introducing Baby Kate! :

I hope none of you overdose on the amount of pink in this image! I just really like this corner of my room, with my empty Victoria Secret bag just chilling for decorations. :)

A Kate Spade bag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought this baby in the outlets for 40% off. Which still comes to an expensive price tag of $200.. but I thought meh I'll treat myself to something........ for no apparently reason. LOL My mom also got a black Kate Spade bag which she got for like $120 JUST because a zipper was broken INSIDE. We eventually fixed that shit, and it's not anyone would notice the zipper inside?! :O Seriously, they took of $300 dollars for it. SHOPAHOLICS GO CRAZY OR WHAT.  Well technically it was like 30% for broken zipper, then additional 40% off with the promotion, and another 20% for I dunno what. Major luck!!

Lol I hope no one finds me weird for naming my own damn purse. Just like how I named my iPhone "Moshi." I swear I don't do this to every material item I own. Just the ones that cost my wallet a fortune and I really like.

Anddddddd a picture of me and Baby Kate. I couldn't help posting this picture as I think I look very chio with those Hello Kitty glasses. What do you think?

Oppa Gangnam Style!!

It's apparently I'm still in "summer" mode even though a week of school has already passed.

This past weekend was one of my good friend's birthday bash. We went to a bar and I was really excited because it was my first time going to one! I don't normally drink, but I thought why not? I was hoping they had a few good martinis or something.

So we went to Cellis, which is apparently pronouned as Kellis?? Hahaha I kept saying "Cell-lis."

I didn't really know what to wear to a bar, but I just chose this simple black dress because I've been wanting to wear it for a long time hahahaha and paired it with a kick-ass black leather jacket to add to the 'tough' look. Dress from bebe. The back is quite nice, it's a bit like lace.

Didn't take much pictures as the bar except for the food:

Mini tacos.

Potato fries, calamaries, yam fries.

Birthday girl was nice enough to treat us to some appetizers that include Nachos, and Calamari! I ordered myself a huge plate of fries that I could not finish..

There was no good drinks that interested me on the menu. Last time I went to this other restaurant, there was this Nutella alcohol drink that was pretty good!

Sadly no pictures but I got the birthday girl Fifty Shades of Grey. LOL!!! I hope her and her boyfriend will enjoy it. ;)

The birthday girl made us play a 'ice breaking' game where you had to write your

1) Status
2) Likes
3) Dislike
4) Random Fact About Yourself

Here's what I wrote:

1) Taken, fags!
2) Defeating my enemies on League of Legends
3) Stupid Noobs
4) I am better than you.

LOLOLOLOL

When the end of the dinner was nearing, my friend suggested to us that her friend was having his birthday party at Caprice (a popular) and that we can go there afterwards. I heard lots of hype about Caprice, and it was the very first club I was supposed to attend but never got the chance. So I was really keen on the idea because the club was literally just across the street... I'm already dressed up appropriately for it anyways, so why not?

Thank goodness there was absolutely no line up at all when we got there. (I really, really hate club lineups. Last time I waited here at the same time, I had to wait an hour and a half and still didn't get in.)

One step into the club and I already love it alot more than Celebs (the last club I went to.) First of all, they were playing a mainstream song that I knew. Second, the venue is alot bigger and there was a little lounge upstairs with pretty couches. Win, win.

Pictures at the front entrance. The bouncer looks so annoyed in the back. LOL

Although I tried the "all-black" look that night, I don't think I can stick with it. I love my colours too much!!!

The fancy couches I was talking about!! Couldn't resist striking a few poses.. :$

Andddd can you believe it? I took my first shot!! I insist it tastes like orange juice though.... seriously wtf?!? It's called "pornstar" btw.

In a few short minutes, the club started getting packed and it was time to PARTYYYYYYY!!! I freakin' love this club. They played all my favourites from Ne-yo & Pitbull's "Give Me Everything" to PSY's GANGNAM STYLE!!! Holy shit it was amazing.

The DJs even started handing out glowsticks and glow glasses to the crowd!!! AWESOME OR WHAT?!?

We bumped into my friend's guy friends which were good cause they sorta "protected" us from the other creeps, and made the experience more enjoyable as well. :) I made the weirdest faces at those guys that attempt to get into our circle.. Alcohol surely makes people do WEIRD SHIT.

Those glow-glasses were quite cool but I can't see shit with them. lolololol.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY GIRL, D!!!!!! Sending you lots of love always, and to our friendship. Hope you had an amazinggggg night!

Some "candid" silly pics when we were on our way to the club. Some of my favourite pics with my favourite people.

Taking a pictures outside the club on the streets!! Looks like Time Square or something ne??!? Either way, LOVE these picures. Nothing but love for these girls.

Very good night indeed!

Oh, and I managed to somehow lose $20 that night. But YOLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

The Day Where All Dreams Will End

Like most of what's on people's timeline/Facebook status, I am not looking forward to September at all.

Not only is it the dreadful time of schooling is coming around the corner, but also the beautiful warm weather. Where I live, summer is very short. And this year it felt SUPER, DUPER short. (I swear it gets shorter each year, FU GLOBAL WARMING.) We had a few weeks of hot weather during August, then it was gone. -_- Just when I just pulled out the summer blankets too.

I don't really understand why I feel so depress. It's not like I sat around playing games all day like I did LAST summer. But I was totally fine with it. This year I was able to check off alot of things on my To-Do Summer List. Such as the Grouse Grind, going clubbing, chilling alot with my friends, and going to many places. But I don't feel satisfied. Something is missing.

I assumed like most people, we look at summer as a time where we can do anything we want. Party all night long, sleep in till noon, watch the sunset and stay up till dawn, because we all the time in the world is ours.. just for two months. So instead of our time being used up by doing homework, cramming for tests, and doing a last minute essay, we now have time to focus on ourselves. Summer is always a great time for myself to 'improve.' I try to blog more, make it prettier, tweet more, get more active, draw etc. Anything that I enjoy doing. Except two things that I did not do was: take a dance class and go to the beach. Epic fail on my part. But like I stated earlier, I was able to achieve quite a bit on my list. And now that summer vacation is ending.. I'm very sad I won't have time to do all that anymore! I believe it's all in the time-management though and I'm going to try my hardest to be organize and schedule in the things I love to do. Because life's too short to just 'live' for two months.

Here's just another quick update of what I did recently. As I've stated last post, my best friend had just left to go on an exchange program for 6 months to Vietnam. We had a goodbye lunch at this Cambodian/Vietnamese restaurant called Pnom Phenh. Apparently they are very popular for their chicken wings! The restaurant is located in a small street at China Town.

Their famous chicken wings!! They are actually quite tasty. Nom nom nom.

This was like beef?? I forgot the name of the dish, but it's actually not raw even though it looks it. Very yummy as well!

I would recommend you try there at least once if you're in the China Town area in Vancouver. But don't expect great service! Apparently it's usually very busy with big line ups, and the customer service is just shitty. I think they are Vietnamese too. FML I swear Viet people have horrid services.. So embarrassing. My friend called in to make reservations for 4 people, but they said no and only 6+ people. Last time she went with her family (she has 5 people), they said they only took reservations for 4 people. WTF?!? The guy said 'WELL YOU HEARD WRONG.' My friend bitched back saying she will write a bad review on urbanspoon.com and he said 'I DON'T GIVE A DAMN' and hanged up the phone. TROLOLOLOL.

The food prices are reasonable.

Group picture at the skytrain station before we said our goodbyes.

M, I will miss you so much and I cannot wait for you to be back!!! I hope you have an amazing, and safe trip.

I wasn't able to send her off at the airport because her flight was too early and I had no way to arrive there on time (5am). I hate going to the airport. It's either a happy thing, then it's really really sad. (I hate goodbyes, doesn't everyone?) I'm a bit glad I didn't go cause I think I would have cried.. LOL

School just started for me, and so far so good. I guess. I hope I will continue to update my blog.

I'm currently working on a new blog layout. The HTML is just messed right now and giving me a headache. In time it will hopefully be done!!
